The customer contacted us wanting to know if we softwashed and painted the exterior of homes. They were delighted to hear that we both paint exteriors and power wash them. We gave them a great estimate, they accepted and asked how soon we could start. We put them in our schedule and began working their home. We used Behr paints for the home and it looked great when we completed the job! They also asked if we could install 2 ceiling fans and recondition the front doors on their front porch and we said, "Yes"! When we were power washing the siding to prepare for painting we noticed the roof was very dirty. It was covered in algae and you couldn't really tell what the color of the shingles were. Most customers don't realize that roofs can be softwashed easily and their roofs returned to like new condition. By softwashing your roof, you will also extend the lift of it because the algae on the shingles will erode the limestone in the shingles causing reduced shingle life.
